Canvas Prints & Stretching on 3/4" Bars
Canvas material we use at Germotte Photo & Framing Studio
- We use only the best archival-quality canvas for canvas printing.
- Our canvas of choice is the Epson Exhibition Canvas Natural Gloss.
- This poly-cotton blend canvas is a heavyweight quality canvas that utilizes a tight weave of 388 gsm, 18.5-mil
- It has a gloss finish weave 2 over 1, which ensures that your canvas prints will be durable, long-lasting, and will stand the test of time
- This high-quality canvas ensures that your custom prints will be vibrant, and sharp, and will make a beautiful addition to any room in your home.
The canvas we use enables us to achieve
- Stunning visual impact through high DMax and wide colour gamut
- Vibrant colours and rich, deep blacks, result in tonal gradations
- The canvas is specially coated for museum-grade image quality and durability.
- It is also environmentally friendly as it does not use Optical Brighteners (OBA)
- The canvas ensures that your custom canvas prints will stand the test of time.
As for the wooden stretcher
We use Canadian-made Kiln dried Pinewood and Basswood for canvas stretchers, available in three sizes: ¾”, 1” and 1 ½”.
The ¾ inch size is the best option for those looking to frame their canvas print in a floater frame.
All our gallery wrapped canvas prints come with
- Dust cover backing to protect the back of the canvas and prevent dust and other materials from getting stuck between the stretcher bar and the canvas print
- Wire and hook for easy hanging
- Bumper pads to protect the walls from any marks or scratches and to keep the gallery-wrapped canvas frames level and prevent sliding.
